Worrall is a small rural village in the civil parish of Bradfield within the boundary of the City of Sheffield. It stands in an elevated position at a height of approximately 230 metres and is 4 miles (6.5 km) north west of Sheffield City Centre.
Worrall Environmental Group is primarily concerned with aspects of the village of an environmental nature and concentrates on those areas where the local council should be aware of any problems. Additionally the group carries out work to ensure that the village remains unspoiled.
In recent years we have provided and installed flower tubs around the village, provided five village entrance signs, maintained the village troughs, organised clean-up days, liaised with Councils about traffic and more.
We hold meetings 6-8 times a year and new members are always welcome.
