Bring your holey socks, torn trousers and buttonless shirts. Learn how to mend them whilst listening to stories.

Carmel Page hasn't bought any new clothes for over eight years but gets more compliments on her creatively repaired clothes than she ever got when they were new!

In this session you will learnt how to transform damaged clothes into beautifully repaired clothes.

Carmel is also an acclaimed storyteller. As you settle down to sew, she will enchant you with stories of reuse and planet protection. There will also be a discussion about the effect the clothing industry has on the environment and how to reduce your impact.

Bring your worn and torn clothes or practice on spare fabric if you prefer.

If you have any additional needs, please let Carmel know in advance or on the day. NB. The toilets are up a steep staircase.
