Carmel's Crafty Stories - Weaving

Learn to weave using only reused and recycled materials. As you work you will be enchanted with sustainable stories told by Carmel Page Weaving is one of the oldest crafts; it’s about warmth and creation. Renowned storyteller and passionate recycler Carmel Page will teach you this simple craft using recycled materials. As you weave she will enchant you with stories of weaving. Once you have mastered the basic process you will soon be able to refine your skills with more advanced weaves. No experience needed, all the materials you require will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own yarns if you wish. Please note this session takes place up a steep staircase. Footwear is to be left outside the carpeted room. Only water is allowed in the room but after the session we can reconvene in the vegetarian café downstairs.
