Sheffield Manor Lodge
Located just a mile from Sheffield City Centre lies the last remains of what was once the Great Sheffield Deer Park. With an uninterrupted history of occupancy that stretches back to at least the Saxon period, this 14 hectare site presents a real insight into the Story of Sheffield. You are invited to come and investigate the past and see how knowledge is being applied for a more sustainable future
The Discovery Centre is open to the public every Friday from 10am - 4pm . Additional Saturday opening for 2012 From 7th April (Easter Saturday) to September 8th, Admission if Free. You can also book for guided tours of the site and the Turret House on Fridays and these saturdays - £1.50 Adults 50p Children accompanied by adult.
