Five Weirs Walk Trust
Volunteers, supported initially by Sheffield Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Sheffield Wildlife Trust, have campaigned for, raised funds and managed the construction of the riverside walk from the town centre to Blackburn Meadows.
We have also worked with other groups and agencies to grow the River Stewardship Company, which is now working to maintain the walkway and riverside facilities. We work with community groups, businesses and volunteers.
