“We are a community smallholding, growing vegetables and raising our own animals. We have a flock of free range hens for eggs, and also take on rare breed weaner piglets in several batches a year. There are numerous projects in the offing, depending on need and we are aiming for a sustainable no-dig site where enjoyment and socialising is as important as working to achieve what is necessary. If after you've volunteered a couple of times we'll be happy to discuss membership with you, or you can carry on volunteering for as long as you wish. |
