| Description | A short (1.6km) walk along the River Don from Hillfoot (Farfield Inn) to Wardsend Cemetery. Who lived or worked by the river in the 19th century? We will find what remains of their houses and workplaces. Then we will visit their graves in the cemetery and learn more about their lives. (Optional return to Farfield or depart via Livesey St) |
