| Description | Norfolk Arms Walking Festival - Walk No 3 - Mayfield Valley. On our doorstep at Ringinglow is the lovely Mayfield Valley with it's rich industrial and social history. This 4 mile sunset walk along field tracks and minor roads will be full of information about the buildings we will be passing on our walk, and the people who used to live in them in the 18th and 19th centuries. With a part of the adjoining Porter Valley also included in the route, this relatively easy 2 hour walk is one not to be missed. Meet at the pub at 5 pm for tea/coffee and to register, with the walk commencing at 5.30 prompt. £10 charge payable to the pub includes hot drinks before and after the walk, plus lunch from the pub menu. |
