Description | Join Michael (Ziggy) Senkans and friends on a stroll into the woods around Wharncliffe Heath, to examine an area dominated by beeches for fungi. Suitable for young and old, the skilled and beginners. Ziggy will identify the fungi and explain the features that allowed him to do that, and also discuss their natural history. Please wear suitable (warm) outdoor clothing and sturdy walking boots, and bring your own refreshment. Joint event with Sorby Natural History Society. |
