Description | Want to know more about Sheffield's ancient woodland? Would you like to gain confidence in identifying trees and learn to recognise which are the oldest? Interested in finding out how people have shaped the woods over the centuries and how people are managing the woods today? Join Sheffield Woodland Connections on an interpretative walk through Ecclesall Woods, where we will reveal the magic of South Yorkshire’s largest ancient woodland. Sensible footwear is a must as paths are muddy. All are welcome but the walks are not aimed at young children, although kids with a passion for learning about nature are encouraged to join us. Meet 10 minutes before the walk start time. |
