Description | As part of our project to improve the quality of our wood pasture areas, for both wildlife and livestock, we will be cutting and clearing bracken brash and we would welcome volunteers to give us a hand. We have evidence that this management is improving the habitat for some bird species and reptiles, and is likely to be doing the same for many species of invertebrates. Tools and training will be provided where necessary. Please bring your own lunch and wear stout footwear and clothes to match the terrain and late December weather. |
