Wildlife Gardening workshop.
A practical workshop looking at ways to make your garden more hospitable and attractive for wildlife. We will be looking at which plants and bulbs are best for encouraging pollinators, how to choose plants for your own wildflower 'meadow' and how to prepare an area for seed sowing. We will give training on how to recognise wildlife signs and how to create suitable refuges such as log piles, bat & bird boxes and hedgehog houses to encourage more animals to take up residence. Other practical ways to provide year round benefits for wildlife will be considered such as pond creation and safe lawn management. This popular course is limited to just 15 participants, so booking is essential
