| Description | A fairly strenuous 5 mile walk in the Stanage/Hathersage area. There are 2 tough inclines; the first to get on to the top of Stanage, and the second to reach North Lees Hall from Bronte Cottage. The section of Stanage Edge which we'll be walking on is part of the Sheffield Country walk route, and there is also the Bronte history. There are numerous rocky sections and bogs to negotiate but fantastic views throughout the walk. |
