“Recording Insects on Sheffield’s Allotments” – Workshop

Description This workshop aims to provide the skills to identify and record a range of insects to be found in allotments. It will be an informal, hands-on, using specimens, microscopes and identification guides. Specialists will be able to help. It will also be a training session for 2017-2018 survey of Sheffield’s allotments, and we will be looking at how records can be made and used. Organised by Sorby Invertebrate Group and Sheffield Allotments Federation supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The workshop is FREE but BOOKING ESSENTIAL.
