Join local historian Mike Spick for an exploration of the Sheffield Canal, past and present. Get to know this green corridor, once an artery of commerce for the city. Why was it called ‘Halfpenny Bridge’? What happened to the ‘castle’? How many tons of cargo used to come this way and what’s the connection between the canal and jelly babies?
