Description | James Hitchmough is Professor of Horticultural Ecology in the Landscape Department, Sheffield University. He collaborates on research which is focussed on creation of native and non-native vegetation – “ecologically informed herbaceous plant communities that are highly attractive to the lay public” - for use in public urban green space in towns and cities and in many countries. In this talk he will tell us about his work going on in China. Visitors £3. Note: Gardens classroom is due for demolition and a new Education Centre will be built.
