| Description | A guided historical walk lasting 2 -2.5 hours around Cherry Tree and Kenwood led by members of the Nether Edge Neighbourhood Group’s History Group. We’ll explore the history of the area including a house built about 1605 and look at changes made from the 1850s as new wealthy industralists, including cutlery manufacturer George Wostenholm, built large houses and transformed an agricultural landscape into a prosperous suburb. |
