| Description | Darrell is running organic Master Classes at our Wortley Hall Kitchen Garden site throughout the Spring. Each class looks at its chosen topic in depth and Darrell will give you lots of advice and help. This weeks topic is - Crops Exploring the range of crops we can grow in our region, including cultivation methods, weeding techniques, rotations, intercropping, catch cropping, extending the season/forcing and growing under cover (polytunnels, greenhouses, cloches Other dates are below - see individual entries for more details Sat 22nd March Soil Sat 29th Compost Sat 5th April Propogation Sat 26th April Herbs and Wildlife Sat 3rd May Fruit All sessions are 10am - 1pm £15 per person per session or £75 for all 6 sessions Concessions are available on all and pick ups may be available from Heeley City Farm; please enquire for details Wortley Hall Kitchen Garden is one of the Heeley City Farm family of growing sites. |
