| Description | Each year the Sharrow is host to an array of amazing lanterns that are paraded through the streets. The event starts at Mount Pleasant Park and leaves at about 8pm to arrive at the General Cemetery's open space at around 9.30pm for a gathering and parade of the lanterns.
