About the Event
Join us in the park for a day crammed full of fun at our Big Environment Day on Saturday 4th May, 11am to 3pm to celebrate all that the park has to offer as a local green resource.
Weβll be launching new features in the park alongside a range of hands-on activities to get you up close to nature and having fun in the great outdoors.

β’ Learn woodland craft skills and take your creation home!
β’ Play nature detective with our Spring Watch team
β’ Learn about the wildlife, plants, trees and flowers growing in the park
β’ Experiment with wind power β make a kite!
β’ Enjoy a βGreen Tourβ of the park β hear about what weβre up to and our plans for the future
This is a free event, part of Sheffield Environment Weeks 2013 and activities will be held throughout the park. Small charges will apply to some of our activities and refreshments will be available to buy on the day. Come down and join in!
